Paul Jermyn, Guitarist, Singer/Songwriter from Cavan Town,
Paul will perform sets from his new album. Paul covers a wide variety of music styles from screaming lead solos to subtle acoustic playing. "Musically I'm a bit of a Jekyll & Hyde. there is so much good music out there across all genres that it's impossible for me not to try to be able to play a little bit of everything...but it must be melody driven." There is yet another facet to Paul's music career. He is a talented songwriter/composer and has collaborated & played on numerous Rock, Folk & Traditional recordings including the critically acclaimed "This Town" which helped to co-write with Gerry Henderson. He is a widely respected and experienced studio musician and continues work with producer Peter Keenan of Stockton’s Wing Fame. This has earned him many admirers in the Contemporary Irish song-writing & music scene. Paul is a member of The Registry of Guitar Tutors and lives in Haworth, West Yorkshire with his wife Alison & Baby Daughter, Niamh. He teaches Guitar in Keighley Musicians Centre, West Yorkshire.

LAST CHANCE TO JOIN Comhaltas for 2010.
AS part of NYAH 7 celebrations for All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in Cavan, the members of the Junior Branch of Comhaltas in Cavan are asking the public to make sure that their televisions be turned off in favour of traditional music sessions for the afternoon...
Co-operation with this eco-initiative will make sure the pictures and sounds of televisions have been replaced in many of the house’s by the more traditional scene of an impromptu music session in the backyard from 3pm to 5pm come out and support the youth .
It is the Branch intention to show that we care about the environment as part of a new green approach which seeks to give a different emphasis to Comhaltas and Fleadh 2010 planning.
